Thoughts come and vanish across
Roads merge to diverge again
Cells grow and energy drains
You drink, dunk and dazzle away

Stars shine in your eyes and dreams defy
Mornings turn to noon with coffee and chai
T-shirts, Jeans - Shorts and Sneakers,
Leagues, games that make the first person fly

Receipts rot, bills paid and accounts maxed
Tours and travel, add to shops and tax
Laugh, bicker, hug and mesh
